<h6>Finding contacts</h6>
You can perform a lookup that contains only the contact records you need. To perform a lookup:

<LI>From the View menu, choose Lookup or tap the Lookup tool in the toolbar. The Lookup dialog box appears.
<LI>In the Lookup field, type the word or phrase you want to find.
<LI>In the Search On field, select the field in which you want to search for the specified text.
<p><b>Tip:</b> If you are searching a large database, use one of the three fields at the top of the Search On list for the fastest lookup.

<LI>Tap OK to search through the contact records in your database. ACT! displays the contact records that match your search criteria in the Contact view.

<p>To clear the current lookup and view all contacts in your database, choose All Contacts from the View menu.
